How to install CV Boots (outer) for a 1997 Pathfinder 4x4? need help asap!

Just bought this and it's in excellent shape except needs front outer boots...Going to do it myself but need some instructions.I hear it's a pain in the a$$, not wanting to spend $600....

I replaced one of my boots on my Fronty a while back.  Wasn't THAT difficult, just took some time.  Consider getting a Haynes or Chiltons manual.  They're a great investment!

i thought it was going to be a massive pain in the rear so i just bought a new lifetime replacement one from napa.  less than 200 bucks i think

Less that $200 ? did you just get the boot or a new CV-joint/shaft ?
A boot change shode be cheap like $50 boot only needed !

If you got the CV-joint you may have to lossen the torsion bar (unloading the spring) all the way or you may fell some pain... And as you are right there go on ahead and replace the bearing at the same time. I have done the replacement of the thing CV-joint and half shaft bearing and ball joints before my rodeo 3 time before. saling it off for my jeep. Your Nissan is set up about the same way as the Rodeo.
