I couldn't find any info on bobbed beds at either site. I found some good pics though. That's fine. I like to be creative and unique when I build or fab something. When I was building the front bumper, I actually resisted looking at any pictures of manufactured or homebuilt hardbody bumpers. That, too, will be the case with the bob. My goal is to shorten the bed as much as possible- while retaining as many stock lines and properties as I can. I already know that I'll have to roll up the bottom of the rear bedsides a bit to get the portions to match... But, that should be it. Not that I would buy one- but, I don't know why fiberglass bedsides for such an endeavor are not available. It seems like a lot of the people that wheel would appreciate such a modification. Anyhow, this will be done next weekend.

A body shop here in Chattanooga promised me that I'd only be able to get 8" off the bed without seriously hacking it up. I was easily able to get 19.5 inches without too much effort at all. I'll post a couple of pics soon. It's rough still and needs bondo and some glass work at the bottom; but, came out really nice.

Damn, I've been dropping the ball. I took some poor pics just now... as my camera was going dead. I'll post them up in 5 min after the battery charges. The body shop had me hold off on a paint job and the body work for a week or so. They don't want me leaving it out there with the winch and whatnot on it. I have to wait for them to have room to store it indoors:(.

Now I remember why I don't post pics on this site. It's ridiculously hard to do. I up loaded some ridiculously low res shots in the "mods" section of the gallery... I think.

My computer doesn't like photobucket... and I don't like computers. I'm able to post pics on other forum sites though. Why does this one have to be so hard?

There is something wrong with yoru P-bucket account. Maybe you never completed the email confirmation or something. I tried posting your pictures and all i got was a message about the account being inactive.

Just a little update. Paint and bodywork-DONE! The paint is close to the factory color... only with pearl and copper flake. It shows very nicely in the sun.
