Ka24e headers
« on: December 26, 2011, 08:52:17 AM »

Looking to add a few ponies as well as replacing my badly craked exhaust manifold. Is adding a ceramic coated header worth the 100 extra dollars? To those with the 4 bang and header... Does it make a power difference?

the ceramic header is no different than the non-ceramic header performance wise.  the ceramic will just keep temps down in the engine compartment.

If your manifolds are cracked then they are worth it.  Not too much of a power gain, but it is noticeable.  If you add a cam and headers you can really wake up the KA24.
